Insurance fraud is a huge problem that's actually getting worse, costing billions of dollars annually. And it doesn't just affect insurance companies: Insurance fraud leads directly to higher insurance rates for you.

Help fight car insurance fraud by reporting:

  • Staged auto accidents
  • Made up or inflated losses
  • Intentional car fire
  • Phony repair bills
  • Faked injuries

To report suspected insurance fraud, call the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) hotline at
1-800-TEL-NICB / 1-800-835-6422.
