Do I get the Good Student Discount for EACH of my 2 students?
- Jenny Li, Editor in Chief, on May 27, 2011 11:09 AM
Hello,
Are you referring to the State Farm's good student discount? The State Farm good student discount just uses the most recent semester grades whether it is college or high school, no averaging is involved. If in college, you must be a full time student and the required GPA is a 3.0 (out of 4.0). There are also a few other ways to qualify for the discount such as making the Dean's List or Honor Roll or ranking scholastically in the top 20% of your class.
But remember, the requirements may vary from company to company, so if you're referring to another company you should check with your agent or insurance provider. Also, because of state laws, some discounts are not available in all states. To learn about State Farm discounts available in your state, please visit http://www.statefarm.com/insurance/auto_insurance/ins_auto_discounts.asp or contact a local agent by clicking http://www.statefarm.com/agent/index.xhtml.
