Injuries in the workplace require immediate attention. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that once any pressing danger subsides, a written record of the incident can be extremely useful for the business owner and accident victim alike.
After any such incidents at your business, gather statements from the victim, witnesses, and any managers on duty at the time. Write down the details of what happened, the exact location of the incident, the date and time of the incident, and what action was taken afterward.
